Kitchen Demo Day

Demo Day for the kitchen was one of the last big messes we need to make (except for me pulling down some nasty textured not quite popcorn ceiling before the Super Bowl today.) The kids got involved, the dog as always ate lots of drywall, and the adults had some great laughs and a super productive day.

I am continuously thankful for friends that have joined in to help. Our friends have become family over the last several years of living here. The kind who will come over if your basement floods, or you decide to gut most of your house for the sake of some amazing future parties! You guys are the best, I couldn't imagine life without you!

I imagine these kids may be learning some skills through all of this. They have been rockstars having fun despite the debris and making the most of some long Saturdays!

How many guys does it take to put in blocking at the end of a day? The answer is 4.... 2 to do the job and 2 to drink beer, watch, and critique their work.

I am looking forward to the installing phase. Though we have a few weeks of electrical and lighting work ahead of us. But it is all coming together!
